The short version: we collect as little as possible, we never touch your contacts, and we never sell your data.
1. What we collect
Your phone number (to log you in and tell you when rewards are ready), and the rewards activity tied to it. We collect tax and payment identity only if and when you get close to a payout threshold, never at signup.
2. We never harvest your contacts
There is no “upload your address book” feature anywhere in ReferBoost, on purpose. You share a referral card yourself, one friend at a time, from your own phone. We never see your contact list.
3. Your friends' consent is real
Your friend chooses to reach out using the card you sent. We don't cold-text your friends on your behalf, and any message they do get is clear and easy to opt out of.
4. Your number, your phone
Your phone number is stored securely. We use it to send you reward updates and the occasional “a company you asked for just joined” note. You can opt out of non-essential messages anytime.
5. We don't sell data
Full stop. Your data is used to run ReferBoost, not to be sold or rented to anyone.
